The National Council for Science and Technology was established in 1970 as a decentralized public entity of the Federal Public Administration, member of the Education Sector, with legal authority and jurisdiction. It is also charged with creating policies for science and technology in Mexico.

Accredited certification laboratory was founded in 1996 as a subsidiary of Deli-Universal. MTi offers a wide range of laboratory and polymer distribution services for the North American Market. MTi is geared to servicing roofing and paving industries and also provides a number of other testing services to polymer related markets including natural latex raw material and finished goods testing, adhesives, coatings, as well as general rubber and plastic. In addition MTi provides reflectance and emissivity testing to certify Cool Roof Rating Council and Energy Star standards for roofing materials as well as thermal emissivity ASTM standards.

Momentum Technologies Inc. certified solar reflectance and thermal emissivity on NASACOAT® elastomer materials.

Sun Glare, Power Skin 10, Power Skin 5 and Power Skin 3, all NASACOAT® products, have been certified by Momentum Technologies Inc. for their reflectance and thermal emissivity. You will not find anything on the market today that is 100% water based, 100% acrylic, free of harmful additives and with the same material properties as NASACOAT®.

ONNCCE - National Authority for Standardization and Certification of Building and Construction

NASACOAT products Sun Glare, Power Skin 10, Power Skin 5 and Power Skin 3 are recognized by the ONNCCE as reflective coatings for buildings under the Technical Approval Report DIT/082/09 issued on August 27th, 2009, renewed for 2010 as Technical Approval Report DIT/082/10, 2011 as Technical Approval Report DIT/082/11 and for 2012 as Technical Approval Report DIT/082/12.

Thus, construction companies who use them in the INFONAVIT Green Housing plan, have access to the facilities and financial contributions that INFONAVIT has agreed in parallel with the new 2011 guidelines for Green Housing.

The National Authority for Standardization and Certification of Building and Construction, S.C. ( ONNCCE ) is accredited as a National Standards Body by the General Authority of Standards of the Ministry of Economy; certified as well as the Certification Body by the Mexican Accreditation Entity and approved by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Social Development, the National Commission on Energy Saving and the National Water Commission and as a Certification Body for Quality Systems by the Mexican Accreditation Entity.

INFONAVIT - Institute of the National Housing Funds for Workers

On October 8, 2009 NASACOAT® signed a cooperation agreement to support economic housings with INFONAVIT, with the Mexican Chamber of Construction Industry ( CMIC ) and the National Chamber of Industry Development and Promotion of Housing ( CANADEVI ).

NASACOAT® is officially recognized as a strategic supplier of high tech, sustainable, affordable and ecological housing products under the Ecological Mortgages and Social Interest Housings projects of INFONAVIT.

INFONAVIT is a tri-partite institution in partnership with the Mexican labor sector, business and government, and dedicated to providing affordable housing loans in Mexico.
