What is a nanometer: 1nm ( nanometer ) is 1/1,000,000,000 ( one thousand millionth ) of 1 meter, or 1/1,000,000 ( 1 millionth ) of 1 mm.
For imagination or comparison, one human hair is about 80,000 NM wide, a red blood cell is approx. 7,000 NM wide and a water molecule is almost 0.3 NM across.
A nanometer-sized particle is smaller than a living cell and can be seen only with super powerful electronic microscopes available today.
In some senses, nanoscience and nanotechnologies are not new. Chemists have been making polymers, which are large molecules made up of nanoscale sub units, for many decades and nanotechnologies have been used for example to create the tiny features on computer chips for the past 20 years.

Nano materials are not simply another step in the super micro miniaturization of materials.
They require very different manufacturing procedure and unique application approaches.

Science has discovered since approximately 1940 nanostructures in many different areas of investigations. However, nanoscience and nanotechnology are still “walking in baby shoes”.
But curiosity of mankind pushes science limitless beyond imaginable frontiers into the undiscovered universe of constant and endless evolution.
And, we can not stop taking the risk of challenging how far is much to far, an everlasting weakness of mankind.
In fact our knowledge of worldwide nano science and nano technology development, is just discovering insignificant tiny little parts of life’s greatness.
Discovering the magnitude of the never understandable endless Universe, its intelligence of the never ending creativity of evolution beyond any scientific imagination.
Nature’s nano structure exists since billions of years and, its perfection is not understandable, less explicable and never ever achievable in its natural and original perfection. Never ever - !
Furthermore, nano technology has the potential to profoundly change the structures of our economy, education, of our culture, but as well as our religious beliefs.
And, it will improve our standards of future living. Nanotechnology will expand our future lifespan, believe it or not, up to almost 160 to 180 years.

This impact will be enormous, in fact, it will be also a step much more into our spiritual and religious evolution then mentally and economically
t’s the challenge of life, where we come from, a giant leap, actually a quantum leap for mankind with much more global responsibilities and open spiritual questions like: “ remain in religious ignorance, or accept a life of being part within the entire Universe or, just being lost in doubts ” ?!
Last but not least, it is not important if our life does have a deeper sense or not. Much more important is, if we do have the ability and the spiritual creativity to put this deeper sense into our awareness of life. The way as we should live our life as being part of our entire “ Blue Green Planet ”
As infinite the spaces are in the Macro and Giga distances in the Universe, as well as infinite are the distances in the space of the Micro, Nano and Pico Universe
If we ask ourselves seriously who we are, as well as from where we come from and, where are we going to we will be lost before start thinking serious. In fact the answer is very simple, the truth lies always within our own self, its up to us, to see and to accept it or not. The Universe is our limit.
